Jigsaw Day Nursery is a family run service, in operation since 2000. We have services in Waterford and Clonmel. Jigsaw has a strong reputation for delivering a top quality service and we strive for excellence. Inclusion and equal opportunities are paramount at Jigsaw.
From the moment a parent entrusts their child into the nursery, our qualified and trained staff will encourage him/her to interact with other children and enjoy a creative and stimulating environment. Homely and stimulating childcare is paramount at the nursery and teamwork between the parents and staff plays a major role in achieving this. We will ensure that children of all abilities have equal access to culturally and developmentally appropriate play-based educational activities, both indoors and outdoors.
The welfare of the children placed in our care and their parent’s peace of mind are all times our primary concerns. Jigsaw’s goal is to provide the highest standard of care and a safe environment taking the child’s age and development stage into consideration. The children are encouraged to learn through direct experience in an environment, which is safe, stimulating and provides a sensible balance between a flexible and structured routine.
Our mission is to provide an Aistear play based curriculum in all of our nursery rooms, with a combination of Aistear and the Montessori Method in our pre-school rooms. Our curriculum considers the emotional, intellectual, physical, social and spiritual development of the child. This is achieved by always addressing the individuality and uniqueness of each child. We aim to foster a lifelong love of learning in all of the children that we care for, by ensuring the children’s learning experiences are fun and of interest to the child.

Jigsaw Day Nursery is a family run service, established in June 2000. Jigsaw has a strong reputation for delivering a top quality Early Years’ service and is registered with Tusla. Jigsaw operates for 51 weeks per year. We offer both the ECCE and NCS schemes. All of our team are fully qualified and highly trained.
